1. Who we are

Design Source Media LLC ("DSM," "we," "us," or "our") operates getdsm.com, our parent-brand website. This website introduces our organization and brands and directs visitors to the appropriate brand or team.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information associated with your use of getdsm.com, emails sent to [email protected], and telephone inquiries.

Other DSM brand websites and services have their own applicable privacy notices and agreements. Please review those notices when visiting or using those services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you email us, we receive your email address, any name or contact details you provide, your message, attachments, and other information you choose to include.

If you contact us at 586-580-9477, we may receive information you share to help us respond to your inquiry. We document calls through written notes and summaries, which may be sent to the client. We do not store live-call recordings for these calls. Separately, GHL/DSM Hub holds call history and saved voicemail audio; voicemail is distinct from a live-call recording.

Technical information

Our website infrastructure and service providers may process technical information such as:

  • IP addresses and approximate country information.
  • Request dates and times.
  • Requested pages and URLs.
  • Browser information and request headers.
  • Response status and error information.

We use this information to operate the website, troubleshoot problems, support security, and improve page loading.

Display preferences

Your browser stores your display preferences. Your light or dark theme choice stays saved until you change it or clear the stored settings. A colour preference is stored for the current browser session.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to general questions, partnership inquiries, and privacy requests.
  • Route inquiries to the appropriate DSM team or brand and coordinate follow-up.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and protect the website.
  • Remember your display preferences.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and address legal requests.

Visiting this website does not, by itself, constitute consent to every use of personal information described in this policy.

4. Who can access or receive information

DSM teams

Inquiries sent to [email protected] are stored in a shared Google Groups email archive that is accessible across our organization. Copies may also remain in team members' mailboxes. We route inquiries to the appropriate DSM team or brand for review, response, and follow-up.

Our technical team has access to relevant website administration systems, technical information, and backups for operational and support purposes.

Service providers

We use providers to support website hosting, traffic delivery, and communications:

  • Hostinger hosts the website and provides backups.
  • Cloudflare supports traffic delivery and processes associated request information.
  • Google Groups and Gmail, provided by Google, support our shared inquiry archive and email communications.
  • Google Drive stores additional website backups and recovery information. Backups may contain personal information held on the website.
  • GHL/DSM Hub supports telephone inquiries, call history, and saved voicemail.

Legal disclosures

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse of the website.

5. Browser storage and website tools

You can manage or clear browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing storage may reset your display preferences.

We use Cloudflare to help deliver website pages, improve loading speed, and report network errors.

6. Where information is processed

Our parent website is hosted through Hostinger in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hostinger's platform lists India as the location for the website's hosting backups.

Cloudflare states that it primarily stores information in the United States and the European Economic Area and may transfer or access information worldwide. These are general provider practices, not exclusive locations for our data. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Our staff handle inquiries from the Philippines and the United States. Our technical team accesses website systems, logs, and backups from the Philippines. Providers may store or process information in other countries.

We have not restricted Google Workspace information to a particular storage region. HighLevel uses storage and communication providers in the United States, with services and support also in India. These locations are not an exclusive list of every country where these providers may process information.

7. How long information is retained

How long information is kept depends on the type of record. Our technical team manually deletes the inquiry records it manages. Employees manage copies in their own mailboxes, so deletion may vary. There is no fixed deletion schedule for email or telephone inquiries.

  • Email inquiries: Past messages and attachments are kept to support follow-up if someone contacts us again. Copies may remain in the shared archive and team members' mailboxes.
  • Telephone records: Call history, saved voicemail, and written notes and summaries are deleted manually by our technical team.
  • Website logs and reports: Per-site logs and reports are available for up to 30 days. Some server logs are replaced when storage limits are reached, so how long they remain varies with website activity.
  • Website backups: Regular website backups are kept for 90 days. Hostinger separately creates weekly backups and keeps the two most recent copies, replacing older copies automatically.
  • Additional Google Drive backups: Our technical team can access these separate recovery copies. They have no fixed deletion schedule and are not covered by the regular 90-day backup cleanup.
  • Cloudflare security records: Up to 31 days of security history is available. This does not mean all information held by Cloudflare is deleted after 31 days. See Cloudflare's documentation.
  • Cloudflare error reports: Cloudflare removes IP addresses after processing these reports. It does not specify a fixed period for keeping the remaining non-identifying report information.

Backup rotation does not determine how long email messages or other live records are retained.

8. How we protect information

We use security measures to protect our website and information. Technical staff use individual accounts with an extra sign-in verification step, and their access is removed when employment ends.

We use encrypted website connections, maintain backups, carry out regular maintenance, address identified security weaknesses promptly, and monitor website availability.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy requests

For privacy questions or requests, please contact our team at [email protected]. Requests can be sent at any time. We aim to respond to privacy requests as soon as possible. If you have concerns about our response, please contact our team so we can review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution. Requests will be handled within any deadlines required by applicable law.

10. Links to other websites

Our website links to DSM brand websites and other destinations. Their information-handling practices may differ from those described here. Review the applicable privacy notice when you follow a link or contact another service.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. Revised versions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued browsing alone does not constitute consent to changes in how personal information is handled.
